From our base on Lake Superior in Northern Ontario (since 1994) we provide guided sea kayak and canoe tours, white-water river trips, including wilderness overnight camping, lodge-to-lodge kayaking, kayak instruction, kayak sales, rentals and outfitting. Whether enjoying the camaraderie of your fellow paddlers, or the magnificent vistas of Lake Superior, you will acquire memories for a lifetime.

Destinations

Join us for a wlderness vacation of a lifetime. Sea kayak the wilderness coast of Lake Superior and Lake Huron; canoe the white water rivers of Algoma or kayak among the whales of the St. Lawrence River.

Trips

Our guided wilderness sea kayak trips cater to all skill lelvels (Level 1) as well as intermediate and advanced (Level 2). Day trips are suitable for all skill levels, as are lodge based trips. We also have several river trips where we may use both kayaks and canoes. The river trips such as the Agawa and Batchawana require experience in swift flowing water (Class II level).

Sea Kayak Courses

We offer sea kayak courses and clinics throughout the summer at our base on Goulais Bay or at Havilland Bay. Please call for additional dates as our course schedule may change throughout the summer. Paddle Canada skills certification is offered for some courses.

Sales, Rentals, Shuttles

We sell kayaks and canoes of various designs (sea kayaks, day, trippers, etc.) and manufacturers (Necky, Valley, Old Town), as well as paddling clothing by Kokatat, and Werner paddles. Test out a sea kayak on Goulais Bay or try it out on a tour. Or if you prefer, simply rent equipment from us. We also provide a shuttle service - particularily useful for trips that utilize the Algoma Central railway. We simply meet you down-river and transport you back to the train station.
