We provide two classes of wilderness sea kayak trips: 1) minimally outfitted, and 2) all-inclusive, fully outfitted.
Fully outfitted wilderness trips are all-inclusive (meals, kayaks, tents, etc., ) and are suitable for all skill levels, but the pace is more relaxed and we paddle under less challenging conditions (suitable for the beginner).
In the heart of Lake Superior Provincial Park,
'Gargantua' is a mythical place of the Ojibway; the
landscape is replete with mystery and native heritage
sites, such as Devil's Chair and Devil's Warehouse
Island.
Caribou and Sea Kayaks! A guided adventure trip for
all skill levels. Ten kilometers offshore in the remote
north end of Lake Superior, we explore the Slate Islands
archipelago. These islands, formed by the impact of a
meteor are the refuge of several hundred woodland
caribou.
The 'Whalesback' in the North Channel of Lake Huron
is a reknowned sea kayaking destination. Sheltered
passages and gentle beaches on smoothly carved granite
islands provide a superlative kayaking experience.
