River Trips
Fast flowing rivers course through the deep wooded valleys of Algoma toward majestic Lake Superior. The Batchawana River, accessed by train, is remote with many rapids - suitable for the intermediate level canoeist. The lower section of the Goulais is gentler and requires less skill (although experience with current is essential).
