Trip Itinerary

This day-trip begins at the Roberta Bondar Pavillion near the Holiday Inn

At 6:00 p.m. we assemble at the Roberta Bondar Pavillion near the Holiday Inn, get fitted into kayaks and gear, discuss safety procedures, and provide kayak instruction. Personal vehicles will be left at the Pavillion parking area. After we demonstrate safety procedures, we paddle towards the recreational boat locks, then to the base of the St. Marys Rapids. We continue along the US side past the locks and the power plant, then cross back to Canada to land at the Pine Street Marina for a short break. We continue along the Canadian shore, back to the Roberta Bondar Pavillion (by 9:00 p.m.).
