Transportation

Some tours begin in Sault Ste. Marie with a wilderness train trip through Agawa Canyon. You simply arrive at the train station and we take it from there. For Lake Superior trips, we meet at Voyageurs' Lodge (60 km north of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario) where we will transport you and your gear to site of the trip put-in (optionally you can meet us at designated departure points).

For those arriving by air in Sault Ste. Marie, we provide return transportation to Voyageurs Lodge for $150.00/group -- please call early to confirm.

Excellent highways lead to Sault Ste. Marie from Michigan and southern Ontario. Northwest Airlines and Air Canada have regular flights to the area. The Saguenay region of Quebec is accessible by highway and air via Quebec City. We provide return airport shuttle to the chalets (600 km round trip, $195 CDN/per person).
